On the 1st and 15th of each lunar month, the 125 Tan Phu Guanyin Temple holds a solemn incense offering ceremony, welcoming devotees to come and pray for blessings.
Significance
The incense offering ceremony is an important traditional ritual in the worship of Guanyin Bodhisattva. The rising incense smoke symbolizes devotion, purity, and the aspiration toward goodness. Through offering incense, devotees express their reverence for Guanyin Bodhisattva and pray for her protection and blessings.
