Origins

The Chinese community of Tan Phu has maintained a temple dedicated to Guanyin since the 1970s. As the old temple was too small to host festivals and ceremonies, the community raised funds to purchase land at the current site. On April 25, Year of the Dog (1994), Venerable Thuong Duy Ha Nhat laid the foundation stone, marking the beginning of the temple as it stands today.
